Together, we have quite literally been through the storm. And together, we’ve emerged stronger than ever before.

Our time spent together has, undoubtedly, been a story of triumph.

I was blessed enough to grow up here in Wilson County, Watertown to be exact, and I’ve always been proud of that- just as I’m sure you’re proud to call Wilson County home.

If there’s one thing I know to be true after my decades-long career as an educator and football/basketball coach in Wilson County’s schools, it’s that we’re all on the same team when it comes to being Wilson County Strong.

I want to thank you all for the privilege of allowing me to be a part of this community. As your Mayor, we’ve been able to accomplish so much through our conservative approach to governance…

• Great schools that are the envy of parents, students, educators and public officials across Tennessee
• Striking a balance between managing growth and preserving what makes Wilson County such a special place to call home
• A safe-haven for new businesses relocating from hostile states and cities looking to set up shop and bring prosperity along with them
• One of the safest counties in Tennessee
• Becoming a world-wide destination for agriculture related tourism
• A balanced budget, and one of only 6 other counties to have a AA+ Bond rating
• One of the lowest tax burdens in Middle Tennessee
• Access to world-class amenities and infrastructure
• Of course, the list goes on…

While Wilson County will always face challenges, whether they be tornadoes, pandemics, growth, etc… I know, with you on my team, we’ll face them head on and continue leading Wilson County to victory!

Together, we’ll ensure Wilson County continues to be the best place in Tennessee to raise a family, do business, attend school, and invest in the future. We will keep Wilson County great!
